Calypso was opened on 15.11.1983. in Split and, at the time, was only the third pizzeria in the city. Calypso was always a family-owned business in which the whole family was working.
The second generation of Jukić family is currently running the place.
Although, Calypso has changed many cooks, pizzaiolos and waiters we are proud to say that our waiter Nikola has been with us since the day one and has become the trademark of the place. Many young chefs have worked in our kitchen starting their professional carriers here.
We offer different kinds of pizzas with original recipes, a wide offer of pasta, and homemade gnocchi.
Our risottos are far known, as they are part of traditional Croatian cuisine, and we prepare them daily.
We use only the most quality fish and meat of Croatian origin and premuim aged steaks.
Our goal is to make every guest feel like they are at home, enjoying their food, drinks, and atmosphere.
